Believe it or not, this photo was taken with natural light, no flash or strobes. There was a window giving light to a gym with the lights turned off. The image was part of a story on a local YMCA youth organization

I hung out with this homeless guy for a while. I gave some cash for his time. Just felt like taking photos of someone living on the streets.

I love this photo. I got this shot while the bride and brides maids were getting ready. This is how I shoot weddings. I am a fly on the wall and that is when the magic happens. I refuse to do anymore weddings that are posed shots all the way through. These are the moments that make a wedding day special. With out these memories captured, all you end up with is a album full of photos of the bride and groom standing with every member of both families in every combination possible, and with the same background for ever image. Man what a boring photo album that must be.

Using What You Can
These are some of my favorite images I have taken. I shot these images om film using a Nikon N90. I bought some black cloth at Walmart for a few dollars and set up a makeshift studio in my friends living room. I had access to some White Lightning Strobes and got many great shots on just one roll of film. I have learned to use what I can and have achieve many great shots with out the use of all the fancy equipment needed that studios have.
